In April 2007, Charles Burnett & Maeve Lydon produced a 27 page work plan for mapping quantitative and qualitative thematic data on early childhood development entitled "PLAY UEY Project Mapping Work Plan".

Executive Summary:
In this Mapping Work Plan we review best practices in early childhood mapping, participatory GIS and demographic/indicator mapping. We provide ideas for combining statistical indicator assessments and qualitative bottom-up approaches into the PLAY UEY Project work flow. We prescribe a series of activities that will lead to concrete deliverables, positive outreach and community empowerment. We suggested that PLAY UEY focus on 11 activities/products.
