The Community Mosaic Project was installed in the SSMB Upper & Lower Foyers during the last week of August 2009. These panels were created by more than 200 participants in the last 14 months, in conjunction with community events, interpretive walks, classes and conferences, using ceramic discs from clay excavated during the building process & cast research artifacts, hand & foot prints.
